I want to say this first, this is a good book. The writing is good, the plot is for the most part good and so is the character development. Tyler really knows how to make a girl swoon with is hotness and words, for most of the book I really enjoyed Sabrina too,I actually could really relate to her for the most part. Alex and Julia yeah I liked them too and a book of their own would be nice. Spoilers ahead

The last 30% of this book ruined the whole thing for me. I hate hate hate cheating! I hate when a chick does it in a book, I hate when a dude does it in a book. The thing I hate the most is when all is forgiven and blah blah.

Sabrina's high school boyfriend cheated on her and Tyler is the one that was there for her the night she found out, such a nice guy is he... Yeah he is and he's all hot too and caring UNTIL he does the same damn thing. He does it knowing what she went through and he still claims to love her?!? I will never understand cheating, how can you love someone and cheat? I don't know, Sabrina doesn't either apparently it she still takes him back. The most aggravating part about all of this for me is that she felt bad for making him wait while she figured things out and she apologized to him? and then! At the end he tells her to promise that she won't make him wait that long to kiss him again. Um... How about promise her you won't cheat again!? S yeah first 70% of the book in love with Tyler all swoon and then he totally ruined it for me. I wanted to like him still and there were moments I couldn't stop wanting to smack the s*** out of him.

4-4.5 stars. When Sabrina Chandler's heart broke upon discovering the betrayal of her boyfriend and best friend during her senior year of high school, the one person who offered a helping hand that night was Tyler Anderson. Fast forward to ten years later and Sabrina is returning to her hometown for her high school reunion with high hopes of running into Tyler again.

I really enjoyed the character development of Sabrina. She reminds of a very normal girl, who has become very reserved and wary of trusting anyone after her experience. She's become successful, independent and self-assured. Although it was a decade ago, she still carries the pain and scars it left behind. She knows that she needs to move on and she resolves to not hold herself back anymore. The whole high school reunion aspect intrigued me, knowing she had dual purposes, confronting her ex and former best friend in order to close the door of that segment of her life while opening another one for Tyler. As for Tyler, he was the bad boy in school, and as an adult, he's still got that vibe going for him, but in an irresistible package of charm, sexiness and laser focused interest in Sabrina. As a couple, I loved their dynamic and chemistry together.

I liked how the story played out. The opening scene highlights the pain of Sabrina's experience and how it haunts her along the way. And when Tyler is back in the picture, that counteracts any of the negative from the past as Sabrina embraces the possibility of happiness. So when the other shoe drops, as much as I empathized with Sabrina, I was fully invested in seeing how the rest of the story would play out because the path to resolution is what always reels me in despite the knots in my stomach. And I had to see how Tyler would up his game. Plus, it gives Sabrina a chance to compare the past to the present and to figure out what is worth salvaging versus leaving behind, which showcases how far she's progressed.
Loved Sabrina and Tyler's story!
Sabrina has a tormented past and it has taken a long time to finally face her demons. However, there was someone there in her shadow to make sure she was alright, and it's the thought of that person who makes it hard for her to have a relationship with someone who is not him. When her very hot boss, Alex lets her know he's interested, she just can't seem to forget about the man she thought of as her guardian angel. Then, the time comes for her to face her past - her 10 year high school reunion. Sabrina makes it through tough as nails and finally puts people in their places. Then she sees him...... Tyler, the man who consumes her dreams!
Tyler was known as the town's bad boy, always getting into trouble, but the night Sabrina's heart is crushed, he is the one that takes care of her. At that point, he knows the timing isn't right for their chance. Fast forward ten years and he is there to claim what's his! As Sabrina and Tyler embark on their own little reunion, their bond and passion ignites and both are left with their hearts forever connected.
However, Tyler is one hell of a sexy man and his past encounters can't seem to let him go, causing big problems, where hearts are broken and trust is shattered. After the truth comes to light, Tyler is determined and not giving up. He knows Sabrina is the only one for him and even though he broke her heart he is willing to do anything in his power to fight for her. With a little help from Sabrina's friends, they make her see that her love with Tyler is not something to toss away.
Sabrina and Tyler's story will make you laugh, cry, and fill your heart. I would love to see a follow up book for them!
This book started out promising and then just petered out. A really bad editorial decision to make the H cheat on the h on the flimsiest premise just pretty much destroyed the story. Makes the h spineless and gullible to take him back, and frankly the reader cannot root for a happy ending. A waste of money.
